If you’ve seen the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” then you probably know that Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, was the inspiration for the mega-bitch played by Meryl Streep. What you may not know, is that Anna has no fear of being exposed as a sadistic fashion dictator. In fact, she’s wearing her queen of all things cruel personna like a Gucci wrap.
From the New York Times:
Last week, Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue, agreed to allow A&E to film a documentary of the making of its September issue, usually the thickest of the year. Since the curtains were drawn open on the darker details of the genre in “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Ugly Betty,” both of which pattern characters on Ms. Wintour, the real-life players have hardly responded by slinking off stage.
I am so excited about this I could pee my knock off pants. What could possibly be more fun than to see Anna Wintour tear into a bunch of salivating employees who keep crawling back for more. Life is good.
