Britney Spears son, Jayden Spears, her two year old, was taken to the hospital after showing signs of having a seizure. Britney had only been in Louisiana a short time, having arrived to spend the holidays with her family, when the seizure struck Jayden.  This was the first time she was allowed to leave the state with her kids since the Federline verdict on the kids was passed.

Jayden James was raced to the emergency ward after lapsing into a ‘vague and unresponsive’ state.
The toddler fell ill yesterday afternoon at the family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. The entire Spears clan made the 25-mile dash to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, Mississippi.
Doctors were unable to pinpoint the problem straight away and kept the toddler in for overnight observation. Distraught Britney, 26, refused to leave his side and asked for a bed next to him in the ward.
Her ex-husband, rapper Kevin Federline, is now believed to be making plans to jet out of Los Angeles to be at Jayden’s bedside.

The south’s favorite disaster, next to Katrina, is Britney Spears. And now she’s back, for the Holidays at least. Apparently Britney jet-set her way out of LA and down to Kentwood, Louisiana to be with the family (the new +1 family member included). Do they have Conocos in Kentwood? Man, for their sake, they should open one. At least she is starting to look better these days. I wonder if Adnan got a Spears Holiday invite this year?

This trip marks not only the first time that young Jayden will get to see Serenity, the family home in Kentwood, but also the first time since ex-husband Kevin Federline was awarded physical custody of the boys that Britney has been able to take them out of the state.
Insiders tell OK! that the reason for the trip is twofold. First, so that Britney can have some quiet family time away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood before the release of her new album, Circus, on her 27th birthday (Dec. 2).
And the second reason for the family getaway is so Sean and Jayden get the chance to spend more time with their cousin Maddie, the baby daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge.
