Heath Ledger

Batman, The Dark Knight (2008) preview.

The long awaited Batman sequel trailer is out this morning, and man, it looks really good. Obviously a point of interest is recently deceased actor Heath Ledger playing the Joker. I have to say, he does a great job from what I can tell. And Christian Bale looks like he has his usual stellar performance. Will Heath Ledger’s Joker rival Jack Nicholson’s? Only time will tell, but check out the trailer.

Heath Ledger’s older woman refuses to offer proof.

1298.jpg

Apparently Heath Ledger was having an affair with an older woman, and just before it was broken off, she ended up pregnant. All the signs point to Heath, except of course the woman’s denial.

The Daily Mail says, Her husband denied the speculation, saying he was sure his wife would be happy to have the girl undergo a paternity test “We knew it would flare up and that is the point of my talking and the simple thing is we will do a DNA test,” he said.
Agreeing that he was not the girl’s father, the woman’s husband said: “I’m the step-dad, but there’s nothing to hide…and if I asked (the mother) I’m sure that she wouldn’t mind (to have a DNA test).”
But he wondered how they could even get Heath Ledger’s DNA. However, his wife refused to have any part of the DNA suggestion.
“I’m not answering anything,” she said. “I think it’s very, very rude that I’m being posed all of this. I really do. I can’t talk about anything.”

Um, seems a bit like the run-a-round! Man, seems Heath Ledger can’t actually Rest In Peace, can he?

Missing Heath Ledger has finally turned into a battle of his estate.

1257.jpg

You knew the love fest wouldn’t last. Particularly when cash is involved. Lots of cash. That family has begun fighting over what each believes to be their share of Heath Ledger’s estate.

People says, Ledger’s uncle Mike insists the family has nothing to gain by removing Kim: “Our only vested interest is to assure that Matilda is well looked after.”
Mike added that Kim’s recent statement that Matilda “will be taken care of” was not enough assurance. “When you are talking about large sums of money like this,” he says, “it should be an independent executor, but Kim hasn’t chosen that way.”

If the money is for Matilda, why is Kim not choosing the independent executor? Probably because she needs a new pair of shoes.

Hey, I’m just keepin’ it real.

Two doctors cleared by DEA in Heath Ledger investigation.

1192.jpg

Looks like there will be no conspiracy in the Heath Ledger overdose.  The kid just took too many pills, no outside influences.

New York Post says, The Drug Enforcement Agency questioned the medics and found that both of them had met with the “Brokeback Mountain” star and prescribed him other medications, but they are not the source of the two powerful drugs taken by Ledger, 28, who was found dead on Jan. 22.

I think this story is next to dead at this point, no pun intended. Time to let Heath rest in peace and stop trying to dig around.

As many of you probably saw, the Academy Awards ended there tribute to those past Academy winners that passed away last year, it was concluded witha picture of Heath Ledger from Brokeback Mountain.

Heath Ledger’s pills are now a federal case.

1189.jpg

Uh oh.  As if being dead weren’t bad enough, now law enforcement wants to know if the vicodin’s were his by prescription of if he pulled them from grandpa’s medicine cabinet after his hip replacement surgery.

NY Daily News says, The doctors - one in California, one in Texas - are believed to have supplied the “Brokeback Mountain” star with the powerful painkillers Oxycontin and Vicodin, law enforcement sources said. Authorities want to know if the drugs were prescribed illegally. “It’s an ongoing investigation,” a law enforcement source told The News Tuesday. “It’s not clear if there was any wrongdoing.”

Well, something tells me homeboy probably didn’t have that kind of prescription. But really, what will they do? Find the person they were originally prescribed to? They will just say he took them.

Not that I would know how all this would go down. I mean, I only use Advil and that’s only when things are really bad.

Michelle Williams issues statement on Heath ledger

0201_michelle_williams_matilda_00.jpg

Reuters says, “Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him.”

So basically, she is saying f#$k off. I really can’t blame her. After she grieves, she might look into the hair situation.

Ok, I’ll stop……

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams drug video stopped.

1108.jpg

Page Six says, Paramount, the studio behind “ET,” was soon flooded with calls. Scarlett Johansson text-messaged: “As if Heath’s poor family doesn’t have enough to suffer through.” A rep for Johansson confirmed she “was involved.” “ET” producers also got a call from Natalie Portman and e-mails from Josh Brolin and Sarah Jessica Parker, said a source.

It’s a video of Heath doing drugs, not the Daniel Pearl beheading video. Not that his death isn’t a sad thing, but don’t other celebs have more meaningful things to do with their time? The autopsy said it wasn’t drugs that killed him, so what is the big deal really?

I mean, I don’t see what airing the video gets anyone, but when celebs make a big deal out of it, they place it even more in the limelight than if they’d have just left it alone.

A little common sense here kids. It goes a long ways.

That being said, Scarlett Johansson, can you please text me. I think your really hot.

Heath Ledger did drugs.

0131_heath_ledger_drugs_00.jpg

Apparently Michelle Williams gave Heath Ledger the boot because, well, he liked to party. A lot.

Page Six says, He was partying, doing drugs. She didn’t like the company he was keeping. She gave him an ultimatum. . . . and threatened to get custody of the girl. He wanted to make it work, but it was this scene he was wrapped up in. Was he an addict? Yeah.”

And so it all comes out, as expected. The more to the story portion of things. Unfortunately, it really doesn’t matter if drugs actually contributed to his death, people will just assume so for the rest of eternity.

More from Page Six.

“Once you go down that road, then it gets really scary. Because all of sudden you shoot up, you take heroin, then you do a line of cocaine and then you take sleeping pills. Look at River Phoenix, he died exactly the same way.”

Supposedly a youtube video exist of Ledger blowing rails, but that seems nowhere to be found this morning.

Heath Ledger may have died of natural causes

195.jpg

He was young, but even young people die of natural causes occasionally.

TMZ says, The reason they think that — it’s now appearing that the level of toxicity (from medication) in Ledger’s system was low enough that it may not have caused his death. These sources say Heath’s heart stopped. It could have been a heart attack but it’s not certain, at least not yet. Although it’s bizarre that a 28-year-old could die of natural causes, it happens.

Pauly Shore thinks it was the Olsen Twins that killed him. I guess Pauly Shore is desperate for his opinion to start counting again. Funny how the world works, a great actor and sincerely nice guy like Heath Ledger dies randomly and jerkoffs like Pauly Shore just keep breathing away. The world is simply not fair.

The autopsy is still be performed, so no official word on all this. But if you read the initial reports, he really didn’t seem to have much more than anti-anxiety pills and some allergy medicine. But one thing is confirmed, Pauly Shore is still alive.

Heath Ledger had a lot of drugs in him.

180.jpg

Associate Press says, There were six different types of prescription drugs in the room, including pills to treat insomnia and anxiety, and an antihistamine, according to two law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

So allergy medicine and anxiety pills killed him? My God, what is the world coming to? It has to be more than just this, I mean, come on. That sounds close to my daily regimen of meds. This guy has to attend events with Tom Cruise and Will Smith hanging around, I would imagine that anti-anxiety pills are just par for the course for normal dudes like Heath.

Where is the blow?

My God, how is Amy Winehouse still living? Think about her daily regimen. Honestly, I bet her body considers antihistamines vitamins.

What a tough break for Heath Ledger. Rest in peace brother.

Heath Ledger’s family says he didn’t commit suicide

179.jpg

Associate Press says, We, Heath’s family, confirm, the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. U.S. time.
We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time. Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him.

He was a down to earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and selfless individual who was extremely inspirational to many. Please now respect our families need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately.

In addition to this, the family and NYPD say the death is not a suicide, rather, appears to be a drug induced accident. Heath was recently quoted as saying, “I feel good about dying because I feel alive through her.” Her refers to his daughter, Matilda.

Rest in Peace Brother,

0122_heath_ledger_rip_00.jpg

When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.

Brokeback Break-up

Brokeback bed buddies Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams are officially broken. The two have been together for three years and have a daughter named Mathilda, but the rumor is that they’ll both be looking for new red carpet escorts.

From TMZ:

The romance is over between “Brokeback Mountain” stars Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger. The blonde bohemians, who live in Brooklyn and have a 23-month-old daughter named Mathilda, “quietly and amicably split a few weeks ago,” according to Us.

A source said, “The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart. … They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents.”

And apparently Michelle’s first rebound relationship was with Miss Clairol. I’m not sure the brunette works on her but we all do stupid stuff after a break-up. I usually go with getting drunk and making tiny voodoo dolls, but whatever works for you.
