John Mark Karr freed

Did I say it or did I say it? All along I told you guys that the case against John Mark Karr for the 1996 slaying of JonBenet Ramsey was too weird and that I thought all along that he hadn’t done it.

Well, the charges have been dropped and the guy was freed, right after the Boulder DA said: "No evidence has developed, other than his own repeated admissions, to place Mr. Karr at the scene of the crime," Lacy wrote. "Mr. Karr was not the source of the DNA found in the underwear of JonBenet Ramsey."

Right afterwards, he was re-arrested for child pornography. Do you want my opinion? He knew that he would’ve fried in Thailand for CP, so he invented a connection with JonBenet’s death and got himself extradited. Smart guy, don’t you think?

In the words of the suspect killer of JonBenet Ramsey

For those (like me) who are wondering what’s up with this dude, John Mark Karr, and what he has said about JonBenet’s death, People magazine publishes today his words about a few topics:

On JonBenet’s death:
The Ramseys "feel their daughter was brutally murdered, and she wasn’t," Karr told a Thai official. "It looks like that but she wasn’t. I want them to hear the truth. … I need closure and (JonBenet’s) family needs closure. … All of us have gone through enough pain."

On people who doubt his guilt:
"(The media) is beginning to shut up about me being crazy and all that stuff. This is not a laughing matter, it’s something serious. … The world is not laughing as much now."

On why he confessed:
"We all need to put this chapter in place, which is a conclusion, and then start the healing. The healing is what I want to start happening. To heal and feel better about what happened."

On how he is misunderstood:
"People say I am a monster and a horrible person. They don’t know me … they won’t approve of what happened. (But) I don’t approve of what happened."

Did he have accomplices?
"No, I was alone."

Was this a brutal killing?
"It’s not what that seemed to be."

On the DNA test:
"The DNA might not match, but you can’t trust the test."

On his ex-wife giving him an alibi:
"It’s normal that people in a family protect you."

On JonBenet:
"Worse than anything, JonBenet is gone. She is here only in spirit."

My opinion? He didn’t do it. Give me a break, the DNA test not matching, please!

JonBenett’s suspect killer in the US

Suspect killer John Mark Karr may face life in prison or even death, but he has travelled in style from Thailand to the US in the same airplane that the Colorado governor uses sometimes. The rate to fly this plane? $545 per hour.

I couldn’t tell you exactly how many hours it took to cross the Pacific in it, but I assure you it was nothing under 10, so right there that should give you an idea that transporting this guy costed over $5,450 in addition to the champagne and prawns that he was served during the flight.

I don’t know… something smells very fishy. Killers are not usually served this type of appetizers and don’t fly in the governor’s plane. My opinion? All this circus is staged, and the US government wanted Karr for some other obscure reasons.

JonBenet’s murder suspect in transit to USA

John Mark Karr, the suspect in the death of JonBenet Ramsey, is as of right now in transit from Thailand to Los Angeles, where he will face charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and child sexual assault, according to official reports.

But the most interesting part of this guy’s situation is that a doctor at a Bangkok clinic specializing in sex-change operations said Karr had sought treatment there. "He was one of my patients," said Dr. Thep Vechwijit at Pratunam Polyclinic. Also, another employee at the clinic said that Karr had consulted the doctor about a sex-change operation.

I don’t know what is going on here, but there is something very strange going on. A freaky guy who wants to get his weenie amputated is not necessarily the candidate for such a brutal murder. But, DNA will tell. Karr will be tested as soon as he arrives in Boulder, Colorado, where his trial will take place.

Has Jon Benet’s murderer been found?

CBS News reports today that a suspect in the murder of Jon Benet, the 6-year-old beauty queen who was found beaten and strangled in the basement of her family’s home in Boulder, Colorado, on Dec. 26, 1996, has been aprehended in Thailand.

John Mark Karr, a 42-year-old American, is being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges, and has been arrested by US federal officers. The man, who was once a schoolteacher and lived in Georgia will be extradited to the United States in the next few days.

After The National Enquirer put Jon Benet’s parents thru hell running story after story that claimed that either her mom or dad were the real killers, the arrest of this suspect is a welcomed breakthru in this case. Now let’s hope that he is the actual murderer and not just a random dude that they picked up.
