Yep, the summer bikini-thon is off to a big start in Hollywood, but no one is making her presence felt quite like Katherine Heigl. With the writers strike still in full swing, this is about as close to Heigle’s anatomy as we are going to get. I love the smoking and drinking by Katherine, makes me feel like her and I would have a lot in common. This means she is a bar sl%#. And I can live with my odds on that.
Her breast are really nothing extraordinary but her body and her face make up for it. And of course the cigarettes and beer. Now, the being a newlywed part isn’t so cool. Not because she will not stray, but because newlyweds hang out a lot in the beginning. Which hurts statistical chances of just bumping into her at a bar without the douchebag.

Katherine Heigl will grace the cover of Vanity Fair on the January 2008 issue, looking gorgeously old Hollywoodesque. In the interview, Heigl speaks about her personal moral discomfort with the direction her Grey’s Anatomy character Lizzie’s relationship with George has gone. According to VF, Heigl said:

Apparently the producers of Grey’s Anatomy really aren’t paying Katherine Heigl enough (and here’s the part where Katherine says “see, I told you so”). The blonde doc has had to get herself a second job. Katherine has signed a deal with Coty, Inc. to schill a women’s fragrance for their Nautica brand. The money sensitive Katherine had this to say about the deal: “I am thrilled to work with Coty and Nautica on this new fragrance campaign.” But what she really meant to say is that she’s planning a full on media blitz in an attempt to become so famous that those tightfisted stiffs at Grey’s will have to give in to her demand for a raise…and a new trailer…and a personal aura cleanser…and a puppy. |

Katherine Heigl is still pissed about being the poor chick in the Grey’s Anatomy cast, but there’s not much she can do about it. ABC released a statement meant to “reassure” Grey’s fans that Katherine, who plays Dr. Izzy Stevens, has a contract and that she won’t be going anywhere. Katherine retailiated with the following: “I am embarrassed that this has become a public matter and disappointed that Touchstone felt it necessary to divulge private employment information,” Heigl said in a statement. “I had hoped I would be able to deal with this issue confidentially with my bosses. I dropped out of the renegotiation simply because I wanted to treat myself with the respect I was not getting from them. No matter how unhappy I am about their decision to respond to this publicly, I continue to be passionate about and committed to this character.” Check that, didn’t Heigl fire the first shot? And let’s translate Hollywood speak for a minute…when Katherine says she’s “committed” to her character, she’s actually saying “oops, I signed a contract and I can’t get out of it and I’m not a big enough star to force them to change it…guess I have to stay or get sued.” Damn those pesky legalities. |

Say it isn’t so, Grey’s Anatomy may be breaking up. The hit medical drama is fast becoming known more for all the turmoil behind the scenes. We’ve had fistfights, homophobic slurs and rehab trips. Now one of the stars is getting her scrubs in a twist over her paycheck. Katherine Heigl thinks she deserves to make as much money as her co-stars and if she doesn’t get a raise she’s going to take her stethoscope and go home. From People: “Katie is disappointed and hurt that (producer) Touchstone doesn’t value her as much as her other costars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington,” the source says. Hey, here’s a good way to kill everyone’s buzz after your show wins a Golden Globe…give Grey’s Anatomy star Isiah Washington a microphone. As the entire cast of gathered in front of the media to enjoy their win, Isiah jumped to the mic to defend himself against rumors that he called TR Knight a nasty name during on on set brawl with Patrick Dempsey. (Did you keep all that straight?) “No, I did not call T.R. a faggot. Never happened, never happened.” But why don’t you go ahead and pretty much call him one right to his face and in front of the international press. Very smooth. And in a move that is sure to make work on the set completely tension free, Grey’s beauty Katherine Heigl has a few words for Isiah. “I’m going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public.
