Penelope Cruz will be on the cover of the December 2007 issue of Vogue. In the issue, Cruz shares a glimpse of her life in Madrid with readers and wears enormous, fantastical dresses, and looks generally fabulous. Of course, on off days she just wears regular couture; it’s only on weekends that she lounges around in the “big gowns.”

In the never ending flood of celebs in swimwear here are some hot sisters in bikinis for you. Check out Penelope Cruz and her equally attractive sister Monica in Ibiza. The two Cruz girls were unveiling their Autumn and Winter collection for Mango. And apparently they had plenty of time to soak up the sun and show that good genes run in the family.

Ladies beware, there’s a new epidemic in Hollywood and its called baby fever. Spanish hottie Penelope Cruz is the latest in a long line of celebs to start thinking about bringing home a baby.

Poor Penelope Cruz. Now that her BFF Salma Hayek has gotten herself knocked up, Penelope is feeling left out of the baby game.

The oh-so-single Cruz told the Spanish-language edition of Marie Claire magazine that she wanted to have kids and that, like Angie Jolie and Madonna before her, “My life won’t be complete if I don’t adopt.”

Her life won’t be complete or her resume? Oh, was that wrong of me? Overly jaded and cynical? I shouldn’t bitch, I know there are tons of kids who need homes. So wouldn’t it be more effient if they just start tossing the rugrats into swag bags at the awards shows and film festivals?

Penelope Cruz may have dumped ex-boyfriend Tom Cruise, but did she take a little piece of his crazy away from the relationship? Rumor has it that the Spanish hottie has been seen hanging around Tom’s favorite haunt…The Scientology Celebrity Center.

So maybe Penelope is jumping on the spaceship, or maybe she’s a smart business woman and she’s looking to ingratiate herself in one of the major power spots in Hollywood. Seriously, forget Hyde, if you want to make a deal hit the Celebrity Center. Is it a coincidence that after hanging with the original Cruise Penelope’s career took off and now that she’s been spotted at the C.C. she gets nominated for an Academy Award? Call me paranoid if you want, but someone is working on changing the Hollywood sign to Hubbard-land.

So the votes have been counted, the little gold bald guys have gone home with the winners and the last of the drunk celebrities have been swept off the floor. Now comes the stuff we really care about…who looked good on the red carpet and who looked like they need to fire their stylist.

This year the fashions at the Academy Awards were all about being bold and taking risks. Some of it worked and some of it flopped. Here is my totally uninformed, uneducated, based soley on what made me go “wow” or “yech” Oscar fashion recap.

Fashion winners:

Helen Mirren not only won Best Actress, but she has to be up for Best Dressed as well. She looked gorgeous in a Christian Lacroix gown. Cate Blanchett was oh so sexy in a Swarovski crystal studded Armani dress that clung to her body like Brad Pitt when she got shot in Babel.

Penelope Cruz is sitting on my fashion fence. I loved the top of her Versace gown, but the bottom is questionable. Somehow it mostly works for her, but I’m advising her to avoid feathers in the future.

Nicole Kidman was stunning, as always, in a bright red Balenciaga halter gown with a big ol’ bow one one shoulder. I wasn’t sold on the bow, but then I saw her face and remembered why she can do no wrong. Gorgeous! Hopefully Tom Cruise was kicking himself just a little bit when she hit the stage.

Kate Winslet was channeling her inner Greek godess in a one shoulder Valentino. She may not have had a snowball’s chance in hell at winning this year, but girlfriend looked fabulous. The hair, make-up, jewlery…just perfect.

So those are my picks for style winners. These were the women who made me say, “wow, she’s so beautiful. Bitch.” Now go visit my post on the fashion losers. You know that’s what you really want to read.

Are Orlando Bloom and Penelope Cruz dating? Or are they just enjoying each other’s private parts? Nobody knows for sure, but something is definitely going on, since the actors hit Hyde together twice this week. A source told Page Six:

"They were definitely together and holding hands."

The couple was also seen a couple of days ago in an L.A. nightclub dancing and talking very close, and right before saying good bye, Bloom kissed Cruz’ hand in a gallant gesture.

It’s been a while since we’ve shown a nipple slip, so I would like to thank Spaniard actress Penelop Cruz for doing us the favor of showing one of her nips.

The deed took place on a boat off the coast of Ibiza, Spain, while Cruz swam in the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

I know it’s not a big deal, since she had been nude numerous times in several movies, but hey, nipples are nipples, and it doesn’t matter if it’s been seen before or not!
