Oh make up your damn minds already. Rumor has it that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal might have reignited their super secret romance. Gyllenspoon was spotted at a party in honor of singer Rufus Wainwright at Carrie Fisher’s house looking all cozy by the fireplace.

“Jake and Reese were sitting by the fire all night, talking,” a fellow party guest tells me. “Everyone was talking, laughing and celebrating Rufus, but they were deep, deep in conversation. It was like there was no one else in the world.”

You know, if you guys want your proivacy so badly, just tell us if you’re doing it or not and then people will pretty much leave you alone. Unless you go out to dinner together…or go shopping together…or touch each other in any way in a place where photographers can get a picture that will end up all over the internet within 30 minutes. Ok, I kinda get it now. Happy secret snuggles.

Are they or aren’t they? The super secret power couple of Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal may not be acouplke anymore. Rumor has it that the two have split…again. And this time for good…again.

After six months of on-and-off dating, the pair are kaput. “This is the harshest split they’ve had,” a source tells Us. “Reese told Jake it’s best they don’t talk at all.” Indeed, the costars stood apart and rarely made eye contact at the Rendition press conference. But since they never came out of the relationship closet this whole dramatic break-up thing is kind of anti-climactic. What we really need is for Reese to date a mega bad boy. Or for Jake to date him…whatever keeps me interested.

So Hollywood A-listers Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are still insisting they’re not an item. Which is too bad cause I was really loving the whole Gyllenspoon moniker.

Reese says the rumors are not an issue between her and Jake. “We never discussed that,” she says. “I just have to laugh at a lot of stuff.”

Jake also finds the gossip amusing. “There are a lot of very interesting rumors swirling around all the time that you just have to have fun with,” he says. “The interest is flattering but funny too.”

Secret sweeties Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are still keeping their “are they even together” relationship on the quiet. But the equally pretty Reese and Jake are reportedly both spending time on Martha’s Vineyard.

Jakey G, wearing his best pair of homemade capris, is vacationing on the island after wrapping his new film, “Rendition,” — in which he co-stars with the hot, Oscar-toting Reese Witherspoon. Reports say Reese’s Pieces are on the island as well!

Coincidence or secret snuggling rendez-vous? Or if they were an item but aren’t anymore, maybe it’s just an awkward travel arrangement.

Looks like the man candies are getting pissy. Metro (if only questionably hetero) sexuals Ryan Phillipe and Jake Gyllenhaal are rumored to be squabbling over Ryan’s ex- and Jake’s possibly current squeeze Reese Witherspoon.

“Ryan is pissed about Jake,” a Phillippe insider tells Us Weekly, adding that Phillippe, 32, told Witherspoon, 31, “he didn’t want ‘that guy’ around their kids [son Deacon, 3, and daughter Ava, 7] and then made some crude Brokeback Mountain remark.”

However, a Gyllenspoon source tells Us that “Reese doesn’t have Jake spend the night when the kids are around.” And though the actor may be angry that Witherspoon is moving on, his feelings for Aussie actress Abbie Cornish, 25, are less conflicted.

So how exactly do two such pretty boys fight? There has to be a whole lot of “dude, not the face” and “watch the hair” going on. Oooh, manly men.

More on the Witherspoon-Phillippe saga… Ryan Phillipe has hired and fired a publicist, who in the few hours that was employed by the actor made up a number of things. Among them, a fake exclusive interview with InTouch, where the actor supposedly said:

"I’m not jealous of her, that’s so far from the truth. She’s someone who’s very talented and works hard. I’ve done well, too - that was never an issue." and "This is the hardest time of my life - I miss my family."

The issue here is not what the said or didn’t say, but the fact that the "exclusive interview" was to take place with People magazine, not with InTouch. Oops!

It’s official: Reese Witherspoon has filed for divorce from her husband Ryan Phillippe in Los Angeles Superior Court.

After citing “irreconcilable differences”, 30 year-old Witherspoon has asked the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to Phillippe. She has also asked them to give joint legal custody of the couple’s two children to both her and her husband.

Reese Witherspoon has just realized that divorcing her husband, Ryan Phillipe may not be the solution to her problems. Actually, it may increase them… at least from a financial point of view. Female First reports:

"The actress now earns $20 million a movie while her husband only commands $2.5 million, but under California law earnings during a marriage are split 50/50 if no prenup is in place. In 2005 alone Reese earned $30 million dollars for her two films ‘Just Like Heaven’ and her Oscar-winning role in Johnny Cash biopic ‘Walk The Line’, while Ryan has only appeared in two hit films in the last six years - ‘Gosford Park’ and ‘Crash’."

According to The Enquirer, the reason why Reese Witherspoon dumped Ryan Phillippe, is infidelity. Apparently Ryan was having an affair with Australian actress Abbie Cornish, and Reese found out by reading the messages Ryan had sent to the Aussie via his BlackBerry. Oops!

The Enquirer says:

"Reese discovered Ryan’s messages when she accompanied him to New York for the premiere of his movie "Flags of Our Fathers" on Oct. 16. At the premiere the couple smiled and posed for photos together, "but when they got back to the hotel, Reese found Ryan’s BlackBerry, which he’d carelessly left in the bathroom — and she read it," said the source. "Ryan was caught red-handed. All he could say was he didn’t mean what he’d written to the other woman." "

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are now officially separated. According to their rep:

"We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time."

Sources say that Reese was the one to break up the marriage, although it was not caused by a specific incident (sorry fellas, no cheating here), but was rather cumulative. In other words: she just couldn’t put up with his ass anymore!
