Rose McGowan is Engaged

The twisted romance of Rose McGowan and her Grindhouse director Robert Rodriguez has gone to the next level. The two are reportedly engaged.

From Page Six:

Spies in L.A. report she’s been showing off a new diamond engagement ring from director Robert Rodriguez. McGowan met Rodriguez on the set of “Grindhouse” when he directed her as a peg-legged ex-stripper in his half of the double feature, “Planet Terror.” He was soon divorcing his wife.

Awww…I just knew the whole having an illicit affair with a chick you hired to play a stripper with a machine gun for a leg on a film where your wife is the producer would work out. I mean, really, it’s like a fairy tale. I think I just read that story in a Hans Christian Anderson book. Yeah, it was called The Homewrecker and The Adulterer Make it Legal.

Rose McGowan is the Other Woman

Rose McGowan is rumored to be a homewrecker. The Grindhouse star reportedly started a torrid on-set romance with director Robert Rodriguez. And his wife didn’t appreciate it.

From Page Six:

The production had to shut down for a month while he recovered,” Variety reports….” When Elizabeth found out, there was an eruption of emotions - an emotional volcano…In the meantime, Rodriguez and McGowan are keeping an ultra-low profile. “They arrived in the same limo for the L.A. premiere, but they got out separately several minutes apart to avoid being seen together.”

Dude, if it took a month for Robert to “recover” after his wife found out he was diddling one of the actresses, she must have beat his ass into the ground. Too bad Tarantino missed that one…it sounds like a level of violence he could appreciate. And not only is Liz the cheated on wife, she’s also Robert’s producing partner. That could make going to work a little awkward. I hope he wears a cup.

Rose McGowan Wants to Stand Out

Rose McGowan, star of the new stripper-with-a-machine-gun-for-a-leg flick Grindhouse, is not making friends with her co-stars. The Snow White (if Snow White was a freak) looking star apparently gave the Grindhouse girls a bit of a fashion smackdown. Rose reportedly told the other girls that no one else could wear red to the premiere.

From The New York Post:

“It caused quite a stir. The feeling is she’s self-obsessed.” Among the beauties ordered to do without red were Rosario Dawson, Jordan Ladd and Sydney Tamiia Poitier. But McGowan was in for a rude surprise when two minor cast members, twins Elise and Electra Avellan, paraded into the theater in bright red outfits. “It was basically a ‘[Bleep] you!’ to Rose,” said the source.

I don’t know if you can really claim diva status for a movie where you swing on a pole using a machine gun as an artificial leg. Oh wait, maybe that’s the long lost Shakespeare play that I missed in English class. My mistake, Rose is definately doing high art here. Diva away, girlfriend.

Rose McGowan Talks About Her Plastic Surgery

Hot, and slightly freaky, actress Rose McGowan has admitted that she had plastic surgery after being in a car accident that could have left her nearly albino face scarred.

From The New York Post:

ROSE McGowan , a star of upcoming gore-fest “Grindhouse,” had a gory experience of her own a few weeks ago - but it could have been worse. McGowan was a passenger in a car that collided with another, and the accident pushed her eyeglasses into her face. “I didn’t realize I was hurt until I put my hand to my face and felt the flap of skin. My glasses had sliced me under my eye,” the gorgeous actress tells us. She was terrified of scarring, but found an excellent plastic surgeon.

I don’t know if plastic surgery was the way to go. Rose could have totally worked the scar. Seriously, you know this girl is into all kinds of weird shit. Anyway, here are some pics of scar-free Rose and co-star Rosario Dawson at the ShoWest Conference.
