For once it was Jessica Simspon taking after little sister Ashlee when Jessica completely tanked her performance at the Kennedy Center. Jessica had been attempting to sing “9 to 5″ as part of the tribute to honoree Dolly Parton when the big boobed blonde (I mean Jessica here) forgot the words to the song, mumbled that she was “so nervous”, and ran off the stage. The Columbus Dispatch reports The stunned audience remained silent, giving her no applause. Simpson appeared to be crying when she and other singers in the tribute returned to the Well, I am sure Dolly felt truly honored. Nothing says you’re an American icon like having a pop star forget the words to the song that made you famous. Maybe there was some sort of technical difficulty with the strings that Papa Joe works to make Jessica’s mouth work. And the best part is, we can all see Jessica go down in flames when CBS airs the show on December 26th at 9pm…unless, of course, Papa Joe gets his hands on the tape and an editing machine. |
