On Thursday, Jessica Simpson co-hosted The View, filling in as the ditzy blonde. Only, someone must have told her not to embarrass herself by speaking, because she didn’t say much through the entire show — particularly when it came to current events. Instead, she appeared to be staring at a fixed point above the heads of the audience members the entire time. Page Six noted:
“She was never intended to be on the show as a moderator,” noted an insider who alerted Page Six to the episode. “It was all a big plug for her label - Jessica barely even talked to the guests.”
Hopefully, the next time Jessica Simpson wants to plug something she’ll do something less painful for all of America, which doesn’t require housewives everywhere to have to watch her looking blank for an entire hour.
