Despite having showed a united front at the Golden Globes, Kate Winslet and her husband Sam Mendes have called it quits. Kate showed up alone at the Academy Awards, but that didn’t arise any suspicions. In fact, the rumors about her separation didn’t actually start until a month ago. These became so insistent that the couple has decided to finally confirm them and announce their split.

The couple’s attorney, Keith Schilling, said:

Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year.

The owner of London-based law firm to the stars ‘Schillings’, added that:

The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.

It’s very sad to see these Hollywood veterans break up, mostly when they have one child in common, 6 year old Joe.

Oprah Winfrey can’t get enough of Kate Winslet’s breast, and that’s a fact. More from the Oprah show.

“I love the fact that you have real breasts, ’cause in all the breast scenes, your breasts do what real breasts do,” she said Tuesday on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
“There’s that wonderful thing, you know, if you are a woman, you’re lying on your back, your breasts they go to – they part – but if you look at a woman with not real breasts, their breasts are sticking straight up,” she told the actress, who won two Golden Globes Sunday. “That’s how you know. God bless your real breasts!”

For once, Oprah and I totally agree. Although ironically, Oprah has a history of having fakes like that book guy and Dr (not really a Dr.) Phil on. That’s just funny.

Or so it seems she did. These pictures are from Kate attending the premier of her new movie, The Reader, in New York City. As you can see, Kate either went crazy on the Panama Jack oil on some desolate treeless island bordering the equator or she hit up a tanning bed. Looks like she missed a few spots. Kate, call me, let me spray tan you down girl. I promise not to look!
