Michael Phelps and Subway are all good.

Only days following Michael Phelps and Tony the Tiger’s big breakup over his bong hit session, Subway said they will not go the same route as Kellogs and they will keep him. Guess we now know where all the 420 kids will go for munchies, and its not to get a box of Frosted Flakes.

“Like most Americans, and like Michael Phelps himself, we were disappointed in his behavior,” Subway said in a statement. “Also like most Americans, we accept his apology. Moving forward, he remains in our plans.”
Political campaigns and corporate marketers often wait until Friday night to release bad news. But in this case, Subway waited till the end of the week to support the Olympic swimmer.

When will this fallout ever end? I guess Michael needs to wait another four years to regain some of his sponsors back.

Michael Phelps is no longer the prize at the bottom of Kelloggs.

Boy, take one little bong hit at a frat house and suddenly cereals marketed towards children don’t want anything to do with ya!  Kelloggs cereal claims that bong hits do not represent their company. Go figure!

“We originally built the relationship with Michael, as well as the other Olympic athletes, to support our association with the U.S. Olympic team,” a company spokeswoman says in a statement. “Michael’s most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract.”

This sure seems like a lot about nothing. Is this bong-saga ever going to end? He’s like the best Olympian of all time! He sure did something right! How long till this guy is broke? Best of luck Michael, it was just a little grass.

Michael Phelps, sherrif is on his tail.

After having pictures published in News of the World smoking out of a bong, Michael Phelps has since apologized. But that apology has fallen on deaf ears in Columbia, S.C, where sheriff Leon Lott Jr. is apparently needy for attention and wants to prosecute him. People has more on the story.

“If someone breaks the law in Richland County, we have an obligation as law enforcement to investigate and to bring charges,” the statement said. “The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is making an effort to determine if Mr. Phelps broke the law. If he did, he will be charged in the same manner as anyone else. The Sheriff has a responsibility to be fair, to enforce the law and to not turn a blind eye because someone is a celebrity.”

Way to waste everyone’s time Leon and get yourself some media attention. Surely that area isn’t that crime free? Find something meaningful to do…idiot.
