Naomi Watts and baby daddy Liev Schreiber are in a race to the altar. The preggers Naomi and Liev are reportedly anxious to get hitched before the little one shows up and asks what “illegitimate” means. From The New York Post: Naomi Watts and her boyfriend, Liev Schreiber, have decided they don’t want their unborn child to be illegitimate. The couple once planned to marry after their first child is born. But now Watts wants to tie the knot with Schreiber, 39, before she gives birth in late summer. “There’s not enough time to plan a big wedding,” an insider told In Touch. “They’ll have just 25 guests for the nuptials in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, with a lavish wedding reception for all their stateside friends after the baby is born.” Watts’ rep declined comment. I like the old fashioned sentiment. It’s a nice change from the current we don’t need to get married/use a sperm donor/buy a kid from Africa path to parenthood in Hollywood. Besides, pregnant brides are so cute the way they waddle down the aisle and then ask for a potty break half way through the ceremony. |
