Jade Goody, a popular reality star in England, has lost a well publicized battle with cancer. Goody captured the hearts of women all over England for publcily battlling cervical cancer.

Max Clifford, her publicist and friend, confirmed the news to PEOPLE. “She had been pretty much asleep for the last 24 hours,” he says, adding she died “just before 4 o’clock this morning.”
He adds, “Her legacy will be that a lot of women owe their lives to Jade Goody because of her public announcement and battle against cervical cancer,” which has led to increased knowledge of it and the screening necessary to catch it.
“She has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world, from Australia to America and everywhere else.”

Um, ok. Let me try to gather my thoughts. So LeAnn Rimes is supposedly having an affair with co-star, Eddie Cibrian. She’s denying that. However now a new twist (and I use twist both figuratively and….). Apparently her current husband is gay.

On the radio, the so-called “Pebbles ” declared that Sheremet “doesn’t care” that Rimes had an affair with her TV movie costar Eddie Cibrian because “he’s gay.” The woman also added, “He’s been gay since he was probably five.”
Rimes’s rep’s response? “Although Dean and LeAnn never knew they had a cousin named Pebbles, they are glad to hear that she has come out of the woodwork,” he says. “Dean and LeAnn are also interested in connecting with their other long lost family members: Fred, Wilma, Barney and Bamm-Bamm. So Pebbles, please let us know if you have spoken to them, too.”

She really couldn’t tell this? I mean, look at the picture, am I missing something?

Joe Jonas has pulled a Miley Cyrus by slanting his eyes while having his picture taken. Apparently these kids have some bad public persona instructors. Also, some bad fashion advisors, man, is that zebra print? That’s disgusting.

If the struggling economy has you down, well here’s one thing about it that will make you feel better. Lindsay Lohan can’t get a job. At least according to what she told Nylon Magazine in the April edition.

“It’s scary when you realize, ‘Oh my God, I’m not working. And I have a house to pay for now.’… and there’s been some things I’ve really wanted to do,” she says in April’s Nylon.
“Like the one movie I’ve wanted to do for so long is Alice in Wonderland [directed by Tim Burton],” she continues. “But, um, that didn’t work out… it is what it is.”

The 22-year-old actress — who recently fought an arrest warrant, which was recalled — goes on: “[Producers said] ‘You’re not right for the part, and that’s it.’ That’s how I like to hear it…I can take it, I’m a big girl. Obviously, you don’t want me. I don’t want to do something that somebody doesn’t want me to be involved in anyway.”

But Lohan says she’s “talking to a lot of people right now” — or at least trying to.

“One is Sean Penn — I spoke to him the other day. We’re trying to get Seth Rogen for this project, but Seth won’t call us back. So call us back, Seth, if you’re reading this!”

So does this mean that Smantha Ronson is the bread winner? I guess this was only a natural progression, when you think about it.

Paris Hilton dropped into a wooded area of Hollywood with new boytoy, Doug Reinhardt, and apparently did the deed, although she tried to pretend that’s not how she rolls. Her hair had that just got ….. look….I love how surprised she seems to be that the photogs were there. Are they ever not? You might as well just let them film it….Oh wait, you’ve already done that before….

Lindsay Lohan gained one small step towards a paycheck and one large step towards career suicide. This is her latest commercial for Fornarina. The part is sexy, moving and character development trancends the way we forever view commercials. Ok, I tried….

Kim Kardashian updated her blog with this juicy photos of her and Reggie Bush in some skimp. The photos were from GQ. Reggie Bush is strong, if you catch my drift….ok, I have to admit, I do pushups like this all the time. Reggie has to be strong enough to carry NFL teams on his back, you see where I’m goin’ folks?

The Economy is bad, however I didn’t realize it was this bad. These are pictures of Lisa Rinna out begging for a part on the new Melrose Place. She’s standing in Hollywood by Fred Segal. There are no words for this, the pictures speak volumes. What a total disaster.

Vin Diesel’s publicist became fastly furious when Vin decided to not show up for some PR stuff attached to his role in Fast and Furious. Apparently he is a beotch like that, according to Page Six.

“No one could get a hold of him,” our spy said. “He didn’t pick up his phone and it wasn’t until a Universal executive called that he finally picked up and used the lame excuse, ‘I’m sick.’ ” Diesel finally showed up four hours late and “didn’t look sick. But he did do a couple hours of press,” we’re told. Diesel’s publicist at 42 West told us that as a result of the incident, the firm no longer represents him.
